transformer tf300 won't connect to tv

Hi, i have a 4 month old tf300 transformer pad that up until recently worked perfectly when connected to a tv via the micro hdmi lead. However, since the last update it has stopped working. One of the reasons for buying the tf300 was because of this so my wife can show off photos of our new baby to her family.anyone else having trouble with this or know of a solution??

Is it possible there's a setting for turning the HDMI off that's been set to off?
