Trash Or Upgrade Hannspree HANNSPAD 16GB SN10T1?

Hi, I have a Hannspree HANNSPAD 16GB SN10T1.
It doesn't attach Playstore, it runs Android 2.2 if I don't remember bad, and I cannot browse the web properly because it's web browser it's obsolete. The tablet works fine, but its Android it's quite old.
It has 16 GB and allow a lot of apps, that could run fine in Android 4.4
But... may I upgrade this tablet to Android 4.4 or should I trash it directly to the garbage bin?
If may I upgrade it, I don't expect an amazing performance, just to browse the web, read the news, consult facebook or twitter, just basic tasks.
So may I upgrade this? or just should I trash it?
Any help would be highly appreciated

Not much can be upgraded that would help unless it was to try a different browser.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Do you have any idea about where may I get updated ROMs for this tablet?
I think some people tried to install on it Android 4 and it worked, but not sure where those ROMs are available.

With the problems you described you may at least want to try a factory reset before considering a ROM.
