Turning Vibration on touch OFF and clicking sound in ICS.

Boys and Girls,

Just in case you haven't been able to turn the vibration on touch and click on touch OFF, do the following:

Go to SETTINGS

Then to LANGUAGE & INPUT

Then go to ANDROID KEYBOARD under whichnyou will find the following:

Under GENERAL you will see tick boxes next to :

VIBRATE ON KEYPRESS
SOUND ON KEYPRESS

untick the boxes.

just updated my Galaxy tab 10.1v, but cannot disable vibrate while typing... Did what u wrote here. Doesnt help at all.... Hate the vibration. Need help...

Well it has worked on the A500. I'm not certain about the Galaxy Tab. There may be another setting that you may have to adjust. Try the following:

Go to SETTINGS
Then to SOUNDS
Then make sure VIBRATE ON TOUCH is unticked.
