UI sounds - Soundpacks

I'm using the MID1042 and one of the minor annoyances I have with it is the clicking sound that sounds like my speaker is dying. The speaker is fine, it's just the default sound file for pressing the buttons is an annoying one.

Does anyone have a breakdown of the sounds and their file locations (so I can make my own theme) or does anyone know of any themepacks I can download?

I'm not aware of any theme packs, but sounds are easily found in /system/media. The interface has its own folder there, /system/media/ui. These files, unlike added ringtones and stuff, must be in Ogg Vorbis format for Android to recognize them.
