I apologize for not get back to you sooner,I was out of town.
To answer your question its working out Ok,but there is nothing special about the battery same battery life but the good part is that when the installed battery goes dead I just pop it out and the back up in and the other on the charger,while working with the fully charge the dead is recharge and this is a never ended loop.And that a pretty good deal to me.

No it did come with a plastic case it did come with a pooch bag.
But I don't use it I op'ed out for a plastic storage case I got from radio shack for 3 buck's.
