unsuccessful downloads and syncing errors

i recently just got a wondermedia wm8650 tablet and i seem to be having some problems downloadings apps. its very tempermental sometimes it lets me but most of the time i have an error message that comes up that says download unsuccessful and it also seems to have problems automatically syncing my gmail account i always have to do it manually. is there anyone who can help me out? if so please let me know

Welcome to the board, glad you could join us, what version of android do you have? Froyo (2.2) or what one? I am sure someone with more knowledge then I have will be able to help point you in the right direction on these issues or maybe shed some light on them soon.
