update firmware android !!

Hi,

I get my china 7" tablet this year 2001 from (Wholesale Product Snapshot Product name is Wholesale Freeship by China post air 7'' touch screen Table PC Netbook Laptop wifi+Google Android OS 2.1 DDR256MB). it work slow. and after firmware update from seller. any thing work ( touch screen, menu botton, ...). I need help. howto reinstall system or how can I get the correct update firmware or recovery. thanks for every one.

Hi surfeur,

Identifying your tablet isn't possible with the specs you posted, answer these questions :

1. What's the device's LED color when it's turned on ? Blue or Green ?
2. Does the tablet vibrate at start up ?
3. Does the tablet have a green or black audio port ?
4. Which connector has your tablet, 24 pins or 30 pins ?
5. Which WMT version is it ? You can find that rightunder when booting or in settings\about device.
6. What is your actual RAM Size ? 128MB or 256MB ? To find that out, use e.g. Advanced Task Killer to see what's free. Don't rely on the about settings dialog as this might be manipulated.
7. What did the box label say ? MID / iRobot / ePad / aPad / SmartPad etc.

With those answers I can give you advice for a nice ROM I think.

HI RomanticEvil. I have problem to update my device too.

The following are my device's infomation.
1. My device is blue LED when turn on.
2.it doesn't vibrate at start up.
3. i think my device is 30 pins, bcos i mine is 10 inch screen.
4.Android 2.2, kernel 2.6.32. version is v1.1.1.
5.Actual RAM is 256 MB
From the Advance Task manager my device is /Name/etc/dhcpcd/android.
6.Box label is MID
7.From the "About Device "
it shows that model number =Wondermedia WM8650.
Android Version =2.2
Kernel version=2.6.32.9-default
build number=generic-eng 2.2 Froyo v1.1.1-201110217.154319
Please guide my on how to update. i had downloaded "Uberoid_WM8650_2.2_v1.2.2_NL_20110409-HcH"and i extract it in SD card, it not able to update when the device is turn on with Sd Card at inside.
