A new update is rolling out starting today for the newest Nexus 7 tablet. This update is primarily being pushed to deal with the multi-touch issues which have been cropping up for some users. This update brings the next-gen Nexus 7 to software version JSS15Q of Android 4.3/Jelly Bean. We haven't yet heard if this update also addresses the known GPS issues with the device.

We will keep an eye out for more info on this subject. Sound off in the thread if you have received the update and whether it fixes any of your issues.

Here's a link to the Google Group handling the tech support on these issues: Google Groups

The update is made specifically to fix the multitouch issues. And though not everyone has received it, there are already reports that it does indeed fix the issue!
Good to see the update remedying the issue, without the need for the issuance of an RMA.
Some people's complaints about the GPS cutting out on them, still need to be addressed.
