Guide

Step #1
Make sure the microSD card is fully formatted.

Step #2
Keep the machine being charged.

Step #3
Extract the firmware which you get or download, then copy the whole “zt-update” directroy into the root directory of TF card.

Step #4
Shut down your tablet, and insert the microSD card into the card slot. Hold the camera button (next to the volume button) and then press the power button. Hold both until the screen lights up and it should show you a different screen that starts the update.


Step #5
Place the tablet on your desk and leave it alone. Note: don’t touch the screen when it is upgrading.

Step #6
Machine will restart automatically when upgrade is done. Then, please calibrate the touchscreen. After that, you can start experience the ICS system on your C91.

Zenithink official site released Android 4.0 3rd version firmware for ZT-280 C91.


Resource Update

Known Issues

• 1. Can not support the following audio formats: AC3,AIFF,APE.
• 2. Can not support the following video formats: TS,WMV,MKV,TP.

Hello.
I tried to update my version of the C91 at 10 "C91 (512MB +8 GB) android4.0 20120211_3a.
After pressing simultaneously, the keys camera and power-on, there are the following sentences:

camara key ...
Prepare enter mmc update mode
udating system start ...
skip recovery ..

Nothing happens. No update is performed.
C91 starts normally.
I use as a sd card, a Scandisk 32 Gb.
What is the problem?

I had the same problem - the upgrade was ignored, and C91 just starts normally without updating.

Following a suggestion I found elsewhere (sorry I can't find the link again), the fix was to clear out the SD card (mine had several other files/folders on it), so that the SD just contains the zt-update directory and its files.
When I then retried the upgrade it then went ahead ok.

just tried another sd card(sandisk 2gb)....firmware upgrade is done!
