Welcome to the forum!

To upgrade to ICS (Android 4.0) there are a few options.

Wait for the tablet OEM to roll out an official firmware.

Find a custom firmware specific to your device and flash it yourself (may require rooting, or NVFlash).

Unfortunately, it may not be possible because although ICS is out, it is ultimately up to the OEMs and or wireless carriers to get it rolled out to the end users.

I am not sure if you have the Archos A70S or something different. Searching for "AS70" on google is not easy without the OEM name. If it is the A70S, looks like someone is working on ICS for it on XDA: [Gen8] ICS on Gen8 (A70S) preview - xda-developers
