upgrading to Jelly Bean

I'm thinking of purchasing a Samsung Tab 2 7" and the ones with ICS are really cheap now. Is Samsung providing a upgrade path to Jelly Bean for the ICS models
or can it be user updated to JB without rooting or any other tricks?

It's still well supported so my guess is that they will.

There have been some test builds released for some markets. If you get your hands on the firmware you can use ODIN to get your jellybeans.
