USB Cord

Is the USB cord that comes with the VTAB a "standard" setup?? I would like to try to locate a LONGER cord that would make it easier to use the VTAB while plugged in. None of my wall outlets are in a convenient location to a desk or table. So is there a replacement???

I believe it is a standard cable.

THe USB specs limit cable length to about 12 feet max. But you can buy cables and extensions from many sources. I use Cyberguys.com.

It is a standard cable. I have a number of cables from older devices and they all work with the VTAB. I keep one pluged into my computer at home and at work, and use it for my phone and the VTAB with no problems.

I think that is a micro-usb. You can get a 15 ft microusb cable for $1.98 from Monoprice. You could just get a USB extension and that will certainly work. I find that it is cheaper to order other things at the same time to get the cost per item down.
