I was told to post here seeking an answer to why my coby mid7012 stop sensing external devices when I connect them via the small usb mass storage cable. I can connect my tablet to my computer using the other style cable and it interfaces okay, but if I use the smaller cable to connect a mouse or keyboard or even a flash drive, it does not sense them. It worked previously, but now it stopped. Any suggestions will be well received.

Two easy ways to narrow down what the problem might be is to change the USB cable and do a factory reset. If neither of these works you most likely have a faulty unit.
