I've tried the USB hosting connector for both an external keyboard and for a USB flash drive and neither have worked.

With all its quirks, these units are definately still at the beta-test stage and shouldn't have been sent to production.

wel if you compared the g1 when it first came out to the phones of today im sure you would say the same thing but everything has to start some where. now there has already been talk of an update for these tablets and the dev community as already started working on them so just give it time and try to enjoy it for what it can do now.

You are absolutely right. The Telechips TCC8902 platform has not been shipping in mass quantities yet even in China because of the firmware implementation.

But how do you explain these other two models using the same chipset.

Oh I mean for Android. They've been shipping ins Ubuntu/WinCE devices for almost a year now.

What about that picture? That's just 3 rebranded tablets all running TCC8902.

Pandawill had posted it originally but the data for the Gentouch 78 was wrong. They want you to buy the other two models but to me all 3 are the same. The only difference is the price and availability if Kmart gets it's act together. What about those PanDigital are they any good?

USB works in Windows XP SP3 only the internal and external storages shows up in My Computer. Plus got to use the USB cable that came with the device. Other look-a-link cable won't cut it!

Having a camera, HDMI out, 3.5mm jack and a gravity sensor for auto screen rotation hardly makes the G10 just the same.
