Using PS3 controller on games

Sorry if this has been asked before but i would like to know if its possible to play selected android games with the PS3 controller or does it have to be the games that come with the tablet or from the PS store. I am a noobie when it comes to tablets so please go easy.

Am using a Sony S1 tablet

Sixaxis is a great app that will allow you to use the controller for whatever you want. It requires root though.

You don't need to root a Sony S1 to pair it with a Dualshock controller - Sony built this in. You have to 'pair' them which requires the USb adapter dongle.
