Velocity Cruz Android Tablet 103 Locked up

My Velocity Cruz new Tablet will not unlock. The touch screen seems to not be working. I have tried the reset button about 10 times in all different ways with no luck.

Any ideas.

Try holding the power button in for 5 seconds. My has become unresponsive a couple of times. It seems to take about three times of holding the power button in before it goes off and can then be powered back on.
