Versus 7" Touchpad Screen Problem

hi all my versus 7" touchpad was working fine then I shut it down for about an hour , then I restarted it to do emails and the screen has coloured lines all over it , l have tried a reset from the button on the back , still the same , l even managed to do a factory reset from the screen no mean feat l can tell you , however the screen is still the same , also from what I can see is that the tablet seems to be working behind all of the lines on the screen !
can any one tell me if it is a screen problem or a graphic problem .
