very new android tablet user...with a mystery device.

hello all,a asmall bit of help required and i will be on my way please!

i have purchased a 7" android tablet.

i wish to upgrade it and have a mess around with it,but i cant seem to find any info on it anywhere?

details are.

model:s1008

firmware version :v1.01

baseband (unknown)

kernel:2.6.29

build number :android 2.1

can anyone help me identify this product and maybe point me in the direction to upgrade frimware etc so its fully up to date?

I really don't know, the ebay ad shows the same one you have. If you go to the section of the forum I referred you to and ask your questions there, someone might know. Also, try to locate the manufacturers website, if there's an update you'll probably be able to download it from there.
