Viewsonic 100a Pro : How to Upgrade Andoid OS 4.0.4 to later version

I have got back my Viewsonic 100a Ppr tablet but the Service center had loaded the Android Version 4.0.2 while previously it was Version 4.1.

I have looked in the Setting\About Settings but cannot find any Software Update area.

Can anyone advise how I can upgrade my Android version to 4.1 or maybe even 4.2. Reason mainly being some of the Apps I had earlier now says it is not compatible with present devive
