My brand loyalty (I own an Acer laptop) has me pining for this gorgeous slab of silicon, aluminum and glass Acer's Iconia Tab A500 soaks up the WiFi rays, hits shelves April 24th for $450 -- Engadget

Bummer. Eventually though there will be some sort of tablet specifc OS that makes it's way to the nook. The CM crew seems to be making good progress in the tablet style OS direction with or without honeycomb.
