What Security App (AntiVirus, Etc.) To Use for Tablet?

I'm new to Android and just purchased a 2013 Nexus 7. What do I need to do for security on it? I've heard about the Lookout Security and AntiVirus app. Is this something I should get or should I look into some other options for security such as AntiVirus, Malware protection, etc. Thanks!

I would say Lookout is probably as good as it gets though there are some other out there with similar functionality. I have used it for some time on 2 of my Android devices. It gets frequent updates too which can be important.

I use AVG for Android and it's proving to be an excellent choice for my tablet.
