What should I do first

Hi,

I've just ordered a Flytouch 3 and i'm currently waiting for to arrive. what suggestions to people have that I should do with it first. Should I look into rooting and applying customer roms. If so which one?

Is there anything else I should consider doing to get the most out of my tablet.
