What happens when my battery won't hold a charge anymore? I realize we live in a society where the manufactures would like to have us replace our hardware every few years, good for their business not our wallets. I tend to hang on to my electronics for a long time and I am having a hard time finding info on either DIY changing your battery or the manufacture providing that service.
Most tablets appear to be near impossible for the average person to open and service. I would like to see this added to the FAQ as I'm not the only one that has this concern.
It seems only Apple has a program for $100 that they will replace the battery, and Toshiba have models with a user-accessible battery.
