Which device has the best built-in microphone?

It seems that many models of phones/phablets/tablets have really good cameras but I am finding that on many occasions the in-built microphone is extremely poor quality.

Can anyone tell me what model devices they have that does fairly good recording for an interview or even to use outside with both camera and microphone? You can suggest a phone also if you know of one.

Good question. I can't say that anybody really pays attention to this. For the most part the mics work good enough and so they aren't scrutinized. This might be a trial and error thing for you to find what works best
