Hi, I'm fairly new to android and tablets in general. I am an old IT pro and have been playing around with a couple of friends cheap chinese tablets. I was impressed at what they did for the price and am buying one this week. My questions are:
What processors/chips are best? (I'm mainly interested in web surfing, streaming audio and video, and learning the nuts and bolts of this new technology. I've been reading a lot of good things about the rockchips but can get a great price on quad cores (ATM7029, A31s, ) but have also read that the RK 3066 dual core can actually be a better android 'experience'.
Is there much difference in a 1gb processor vs a 1.2 in a quad core or 1.6 dual core?
I can only go cheaply as possible here. I'm not that interested in longevity as I"ll be learning to root, customize, etc and want one that I dont' care if I brick.
Thank you for your help
Steven
