Why is my Google Calendar not there on new Samsung Galaxy?

I have an Android Phone, Droid X.
I also just purchase a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

I'm very surprised that once I setup my Galaxy with my Google Account, I don't see a Google Calendar app anywhere. Why not? It was there on my phone when I got it.

I went to the Android Markey to find & download Google Calendar, but it wasn't there.

What obvious fact am I missing here?

from a homescreen click on apps in the upper right hand corner. find calanader and drag it to the desited homescreen. there are also some calanader wigits. hope this info helps.
