Wi-Fi issue, please help

I can connect to my wifi system at home, but after my proscan tablet goes into sleep mode, and try to get back on, it says the wifi is turned off. I've tried to simply reconnect because it still shows my wifi is on and have a full signal, but it doesn't even try to connect when I click on it...Then I have to restart it in order for it to reconnect to the wifi. Is there anyway to change this or fix this?

Have you told it to forget the settings, restart then connect again? See if you have a setting that keeps WiFi on during sleep. That may make a difference.
