Wi fi wont turn on on a Pendo Pad 7" android 2.1

I have a Pendo which was going great until I decided to do afirmware update from the Pendo.com.au web site. I’m not sure what went wrongbut nothing was the same. I had all sorts of problems so I did a back to boxreset. Now I can’t get the wi fi to turn on.
