Not sure where to post this.. so I'll post it here. What kind of connection speeds do you fellow A500 users average in your most common area of use? (using whatever speed test) I just tested and got 7.29mb/s, I can go faster obviously if I'm next to my router, but I'm normally in this room.

I use SpeedTest.net (free in the market) and I get

Using two servers within 25 miles of me:
14.99Mbps down and 5.65Mbps up.
12.97Mbps Down and 5.48Mbps up.

Using a server 2500 miles from me:
7.06Mbps Down and 3.76Mbps up

Same room. Same router. 10 feet from router.

Repeating those same tests on Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test using my desktop cat-5 wired machine I get
(25 miles away)
23.94Mbps Down 5.70Mbps Up
20.66Mbps Down 6.76Mbps up.
2500 miles
21.31Mbps Down 5.32Mbps Up

So it matters what your subscribed bandwidth is as well as the distance from you to the server.
Also my Acer is going via 802.11 G wifi (not N) which is 54meg, and by desktop is 1000meg.
Mostly these tests are fairly meaningless if you ask me, but the one result that pops out
is that farther round-trips seem to impact the Tablet way more than they do the desktop.

Ahh, nice speeds there. I have a server 50 some km's away, but I find 7mb/s to be plenty fast.
And I know I sound.. somewhat clueless on the more technical aspect of this, but I'm still figuring this out, so thanks for explaining :)
