Wifi tethering with the 7022 4g

has anyone had any success doing this? i have a rooted huawei ascend running cm7 and ive tried barnacle wifi and wireles wifi tethering apps and the tablet does not see my phone. any info would be great.

I haven't had any problems. You don't have the wifi set as hidden do you?

You will need to edit the wpa_supplicant.conf file in the data/misc/wifi folder. You will need to be rooted and have terminal installed. The forum should have instructions, just need to search. Make sure you make a backup copy of the file before you edit it. There is a known issue going android to android.
