Windows keeps screwing with my sd card!!!!

When I put files on my 2gig or any capacity card windows keep removing the memory size from it!! I was making the boot-able cm7 on a 2 gig card. I put the SD card image on it then put the cm7 zip on it and now it says I only have a 115mb card what gives??? I know somewhere someone has probably explained this any help why this happens!! Thanks!!

That is what happens when you write an image to an SD card. The remaining free space is all windows sees, but your Nook and the CM7 OS will see the rest of it when you boot into it. All is as it should be
