wireless vs bluetooth

my tablet (just bought not arrived yet lol) has 802.11 b/g/n wireless - I know this will be no problem with my router and printer but I have a friend who has wireless "Bluetooth" speakers that he streams music to - is"Bluetooth" a separate distinct send/receive technology? And if so can I make my tablet "Bluetooth" enabled via an app or a plug in USB device?

Probably not. Most of the current gen tablets come with blue tooth so it's difficult for any company to justify developing Android drivers for a dongle.
