wm8850 - mid not working with my wifi - it actually makes my wifi not work at all!!

please help, i have purchased the wm8850 - mid and i have been trying to connect the tablet to my wifi so i can download apps, but everytime i try to connect the device it doesnt connect and my wifi no longer works i.e i cant use it on my laptop or mobile phone . . can anyone shed some light on what the problem is or a way to fix it..

By your description are you certain someone didn't steal your router?

In all seriousness I have some WiFi connection tips in a link in my sig. Something there may/should help.

Thats strange it shouldnt stop your WIFI working completely. Try hitting Forget WIFI option, reset your router then try connecting again making sure your password is spot on (correct capitals).
