Xtouch X907 Very Unstable, Need to Restore Firmware

Hello,

I have this Xtouch X907: http://xtouchdevice.com/en/product122.html#techspec
CPU: Rockship 3066
Android: 4.1

Its very slow with a lot of error messages, so I ned to restore the original firmware.

I found the firmware to restore the tablet in the xtouch website:

The problem now is with the application RKDeviceManage.exe that does not recognize the tablet connect via USB in my Windows XP computer!

All the advice is very welcomed to try to resolve this problem,

Have you considered just doing a factory reset? There are some cases where the computer will not recognize some tablets due to issues with the computer configuration. This assumes you are NOT getting a popup on the tablet about changing modes to be able to connect.

Had you connected via USB in the past?

I do believe you're right: it must be a computer problem with the drivers...

A factory reset is a good idea:
Can you point me a webpage with the procedure for the factory reset?

This model have 2 micro USB ports: one have the 3 arrow usb symbol, the other have the name Host. I dont know the difference?

On the other hand I did not have used any yet

Keep in mind that doing the FR will wipe out any files you saved to the tablet, Photos and other media.

No special utility is required. Go to setting and somewhere there should be a secretion for "backup and reset". Just follow the instructions.
