yahoo SMS

I have an Acer Iconia 500 and have been trying to find out if I can use the Yahoo SMS Text on it. When I click the tab to start a new SMS I can see the "box" flashing randomly but cannot get it to stop so I can type a message. Please HELP--This is the way I keep in contact with my grandchildren is by texting from yahoo.

Are you trying to use Yahoo SMS text through the browser? Try downloading and installing the Yahoo! app from the Android Market.

I am trying using the yahoo mail frombrowser I guess I am new to the tablet--I will see what I can do about the yahoo app--I haven't downloaded anything from the market thanks

I tried downloading the yahoo mail app--it doesn't give me the option to use the SMS--
