zenithink epad & wi fi ?

just bought a zenithink e pad my problem is can only get a good conection on wi fi iff im in the same room as computer. I have an android phone and this picks up wi fi anywhere its fantastic. This is why i bought an e pad. Is ther an app i can download to cure this problem.
