Android Tablet Apps

2015 Tabby and Mobby Awards /Business Award Winning Apps | The Tabby Awards /Business user so apologies if this should have been a different thread.

Been using Android tablets since 2012...and fairly invested in them.

For whatever reason I have been frustrated recently by some of the tech site reviews coming out that keep hammering criticism at the quality of tablet apps. I'll use the Pixel C reviews:

Ars Technica: Super negative due to apps: Pixel C review—New hardware ignores an Android tablet’s core problem: software

Wired: Again negative: Google Pixel C Review: This Beautiful Tablet Deserves a Better Android

Compare these to the iPad reviews for the new Pro. Any minor iOS problem gets brushed aside or explained away.

Same thing for some "best tablet app" searches I did:

Android: 2015 Tabby and Mobby Awards /Business Award Winning Apps | The Tabby Awards /Business

vs.

iPad: 2015 Tabby and Mobby Awards /Business Award Winning Apps | The Tabby Awards /Business

Which gets more recognition? iPad.

Just wanted to vent I guess.
