Worked good on my tablet (4GB with metal back). I first tried the version for 2.2 and didnt let my tablet boot, I was able to access it with DroidExplorer and replace it with the 2.1 version.http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/members/newdin.html

Works good on the Gentouch78. Helps make a mediocre tablet, less so. Angry birds runs without issue.

Someone on 99pad pointed out that you can use [APP] VM Heap Tool - give your apps more space to breathe! - xda-developers to change your heapsize without setting it in build prop. So it makes sense to not include a default build.prop.

Yep. But this overwrites the existing one.
