Is the operating system of the PDN Android tablet upgradable (PRD7T40WBL1)?.... have 1.5, would like 1.6, to be able to download a number of additional apps... also, what does 'RDU v 2.8.1.5' represent? tx

Go to pandigital site and upgrade. The new firmware is 2. I think. Also Slatedroid.com: World's Largest Android Tablet Community forum has some upgrades folks have developed, but be sure and read the wiki before posting, they are dab touchy for some reason

The black PDN is stuck at 1.5. The latest official FW only updates the look, not the OS.
