I too have faced the same issue. My batteries have gone dead and I don't know if i'll be able to replace them. So I just have to throw it away, no other option. Even I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a Chinese tablet. It sucks!

I guess I have been very lucky with mine, batteries are still going strong as is the tablet. Replacement batteries can be purchased for around $20 US from what used to be the old chinagrabber site. Also I had updated the ROM to the latest and greatest of TIMS, which may account for why I had good luck with mine???
