3.2 update = Mid September

Excellent idea! Unfortunately, it made no difference. I think I'll report this one to Acer and see what they have to say. The two "biggies" for me were the ablility to get to the 2nd sdcard at all, but even more important the USB/NTFS support. This one helps me a lot.

I put the sd in my computer and added music and a video and after that I put it back in the A500 and can view those folders and contents from my pc.
I can also see the folder for my camera, since I had used the sd in my camera.
So it is just folders the A 500 created.

Well, I successfully updated to 3.2. New features are good. Now am waiting to be able to get root access again.

Acer never fails to disappoint. They are King of broken promises. I ordered an Eeepad Transformer for $400 with keyboard dock free. I was going to give it as a gift, but I think I may just keep it and sell this guy on eBay. I don't know if I want to continue to stick with a company that can break the same promise 4 times in a row.

After the update I noticed a new update for flash in the market also just installed version 10.3.186.7

unfortunatly netflix still does not work. it loads up fine but once i select a movie to watch it says it cannot connect to the netflix service. it also keeps telling me there is a newer version of the app in the market but there isnt.

What do you mean?
You can see your external sd card now from windows.
You can add folders to it in windows and move items into those folders.
You however can not see anything on the sd that was created or put there via the tablet.
If you want to see those items you need to delete them from the sd with the A500 and add them back via the computer.
To do that you need to move them, with the A500 to a different folder on the tablet and then move them back with the pc.

I can see the SD card in windows but can't see the folders already present on it. The folders are visiblewhen I use file explorer on the tablet. So what I did was take the SD card out, put it in adapter, copied files and folders into temporary directory on the computer then just shifted them back via windows explorer.

Ok...just received the notification...just today that I have 40% of battery left and left the charger @ home...waited the whole half of September...will have to wait another 6 hours.
