A1CS in the UK but seems to be US version -please help!

Hi there

I got this tablet as an Xmas present (sorry it doesn't seem to have a make/model) and I can't get certain apps, etc. I could only get thekindle app from the US Amazon site so can't buy books. The ITV player doesn't work as the website thinks I'm in the US. My dad has the same tablet (maybe a slightly older version) and he doesn't have these problems - any help would be much appreciated before I tear my hair out!!

Hey caz, take a look at the Amazon Discussions under the A1CS tabs or contact the supplier (A1CS.com?), I think that because its a 'droid, but without a sim, its set up to default as a Verizon (Wireless) (US mob service). You can change the default under settings, but take a look as I said, there's sooooo much intell there and from my research (still ongoing!!!!) I cant put my finger on the exact post - I think its something like 'US version?' or 'What do I have?'
