acer a500 update...3.1 to 3.2, having problems..any help?

I didnt know that. Would you by chance know any app's/program names that would do this?

update: just checked Market...found Wifi Hotspot app's, but market said it wasnt compatible with my phone. Any other idea's anyone? I'm open for suggestions.

What make of phone? can you get an update for your phone to either 2.2 or 2.3?

There are many cases where Android market will say not compatible but it works fine. For example I have many aps running on my Coby Kyros tablet that market claims doesn't work. If market won't let you install them you can try the following:

1. Google search the program name so for ex: hot spot.apk download
2. Then download the apk file and run it.
3. As long as you have your settings allowing 3rd party (non approved) app installs it will install.

This will work with most apps unless they truly are incompatible. Hope that helps.

Dont know if I can get update...will have to check into that, but I dont think Huawei(Ascend) has any updates for this model of phone. They came out with Ascend 2 model which might have hot spot or tether ability, but I didnt want to have to buy new phone right now.
