Amazon Free App of the Day

Permissions is another way to tell at a glance if an app is okay. FOR EXAMPLE, Bouncy Bill Plus requires a permission I had never seen before, com.android.vending.BILLING. That is a deal breaker right there. What does it even mean? ALSO, nowhere in the description does it mention IAPs, but reviewers do. If someone else wants to install it and review it, feel free.

We would never encourage anybody to try an app with excessive permissions they are not comfortable with. However, we will accept your credit card numbers if you want to give your information away (have to pay for our IAPs and the beer somehow) ;)

If you need IAPs to pay for the beer, it is time to find a different source of income. Maybe Gloria could sell sandcastles on the beach. :) Tiki has taken care of the bear problem. I was going to go out and mount a rain gauge on the deck, but now it is pouring down rain.

Perfect timing, that's when you need a rain gauge the most. It would have let you know how wet you were when you finished installing it.:p

I didn't realize that is how you measure wetness. I got 3/4" wet! It's pouring out. LOL

Maybe they will have a rain measuring apps as the FAOTD. You could set your device vertically in a cup or whatever and then a little ruler on the screen could tell you how deep the water is :D

JB, I've never seen so many excuses in just one post! The truth is that you like to get your beer while lazily reading apps reviews! :) But you are the boss and you thought me the way......that's what I'm going to do once you are gone!

Can I suggest BeerSmith 2 Lite? (APPAndroid )

$3.99 for the Lite Beer version! We are going to have to add a whole bunch more IAPs to cover that expense. (Tastes great! Less filling!) ;)

That would be a lot more accurate than the weather app I have installed. Right now it seems like we're in the center of a monsoon, and my app is predicting 0% chance of rain before 5:00 AM.

10000000 is the 5/22 app.

10000000 is a Dungeon Crawling RPG Matching Game. Run the dungeon and match to handle the things you encounter.

Downloaded it, played it, didn't care for it. I am not big on retro games and didn't see where there was much of an RPG element. It was mostly match 3 after you figure out how to play it. It comes with 0 instructions. Maybe it changes later on. Maybe I will play it some more.

NOW, if you accept other reviews (which apparently you don't, based on comments here), it did get a 4 1/2 star rating. The only 1 star rating was one saying all the other reviews were fake. Also, it does not require any permissions.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Tiki decided it would be great fun to chase a skunk. She didn't get sprayed directly, but still smells. Is there an app for that?
