Amazon Free App of the Day

Odd name. Can't they just call it note pad like everybody else? :)

How about Scribble This, Pal?

I like the memo program, but it just takes too long to load. Maybe if I had a better tablet....

I got List Pro when it was a free app. I haven't really used it yet but it looks like all I would need.

Love platform games. Downloaded this one and it is not as easy as it might look.

Wordoku is the 12/15 app.

Each unique Wordoku puzzle consists of nine letters that must appear only once in each 3x3 grid, once on each row, and once on each column of the puzzle. A hidden word is located on one of the nine horizontal lines. Find the hidden word and you're done! Or keep going, complete the entire puzzle, and satisfy your inner Type-A.

Bird's the Word is the 12/16 app.

In Bird's the Word, the goal is to make as many words as you can, as fast as you can. Highlight the letters in the word and then enter it--the Submit button turns green as soon as you've created a legitimate word of three letters or more. When you do, the letters disappear and different ones take their places. The longer the word, the more points you get, and there are lots of special bonus letters that pop up as you go.

Quisr Pro is the 12/17 app.

What year was the Battle of Hastings? Who was the last .400 hitter in Major League Baseball? Which pop star had a hit with "Genie in a Bottle"? If trivia is your game, you'll love Quisr Pro for Android.

Mini Golf'Oid is the 12/18 app.

Start off on the practice course where you'll learn how to control the power and angle of the ball. Your finger is the golf club and controlling the ball is simple. Just tap anywhere on the screen and drag in the direction you're looking to hit the ball. The longer you drag out the arrow, the more power behind your hit. Be careful of the hazards throughout from sand traps, water, and moving targets. Use the colored holes to transport your ball across the course.

This one is pretty fun. You aim it like you would in pool.

Little Piano (pro) is the 12/19 app.

Little Piano (pro) is perfect for kids' little fingers and makes a great introduction to piano-playing for those who don't read music. The Follow Me Guide leads you through a variety of simple melodies by highlighting which keys to touch. Many familiar favorites are included in the app, from "Jingle Bells," "Yankee Doodle," and "Oh Susanna!" to "Happy Birthday," "Frere Jacques," "Ode To Joy," and many more. You can even practice a Major Scale and a C Major Passage. If you'd like to play a selection again, simply tap the Replay button.
