Amazon Free App of the Day

Welcome back JB. About all you missed was the warm weather, but you probably had that down there.

Thanks! I will probably post some pics in the off-topic forum when they get sorted out. We got to Perth March 4. It was 104 degrees when we were there. Back home it got into the 70s and 80s so all the snow is gone. The ice went off the lake in one day. Usually it takes a lot longer and happens in mid April.

The one day we were in The Sounds, NZ, it rained. Other then that and Wellington, we had good weather.

Oh JB, I'm so sorry, I really did a bad job reviewing all these free apps on your place ...we got games good for babies or for professional player so I couldn't try them. You missed a great app that gives you steel abs and a good yoga app, that's all and the joy to be here with us all!:D

Samsung Galaxy Note

Fling! is the 3/30 app.

Fling! offers a challenging yet cute puzzle game with territorial yet cuddly contenders. Facing a field of colorful, dough-eyed furballs, fling one into another until only one victorious furball remains. Don't get too confident; plan your moves carefully, or you're sure to share the board with other furballs and no more moves.

Wow, doesn't sound like you had anything to review! I did download Diamond Wonderland, the 3-22 app, but at 30 cents a minute I did not check very often.

Brixter is the 3/31 app.

When you start playing Brixter, you're given an assembly grid. In this grid, you'll assemble groups of blocks with the same color in tile-puzzle fashion. Once you've grouped three or more blocks, and at least one of them touches the top boundary of the grid, a new shape is activated.

Micronytes is the 4/1 app.

A patient with a strange disease needs your help. You control the microscopic Micronytes on their hunt for the evil green germies. Will you manage to cure the patient? Find out in this entertaining animated game for Android.

A platform game. Love platform games!

PolyClock is the 4/2 app.

Need to know the time here, there, and everywhere? PolyClock for your Android device has the answer. The global clock app is an easy way to keep up on the time all over the world. Featuring a clean look and an easy interface, Polyclock lets you save multiple cities, view a time zone's area on a map or globe, and see which parts of the world are experiencing daylight and which are experiencing darkness.

Where the heck was this app when we were in Australia and I was trying to figure out what day and time it was back home! I change the clock on the tablet to military, so I at least knew if it was day or night.

It was here, PolyClock?

Thank you, thankyouverymuch. My name is MISRy and I'll be your personal smarta$$ for the rest of the trip.

Thanks for volunteering to help JB out MISRy. Ordinarily, he's enough of a smarta$$ by himself but I did miss him when he wasn't here.

BalloonMaker is the 4/3 app.

Watch your balloons inflate as you press your fingers to the screen. When they reach the size you like, let go and watch them float up. While your balloons are inflating, drag them around the screen and watch them bump other balloons out of their way. Tilt your device in any direction and watch your balloons rotate and float against gravity. Your balloons also bounce off of the sides of your screen and ricochet gently off one another.
