another quick question (USB) and car chargers

Is the usb port of the g tablet powered? Can it charge ipods etc? I want to buy a g tablet and do a lot of long traveling by car and would like to use this and charge my mp3 player at the same time. Also are there car chargers for the g tablet.

Hey mikee, I was hoping someone else might try and answer this, since I can only guess. So for the meantime: nope, I don't think it's powered. I also haven't run into any branded car chargers, but it wouldn't surprise if you found something 3rd party on eBay.

By the way, if you don't mind me teasing: why bother with the iPod when you have 10-12GB in the gTab, plus a microSD slot?...that's your MP3 all-in-one player, ready to go.

You can use Mort Player which has a Car layout that makes the buttons huge for driving and has a nice layout.
