anyone know of a (free) offline date book/organizer type app.

I have been trying to find an app that will let me use the gentouch in place of my in hand date book, regardless of whether I have internet conction at that time. Thank you for any help.

I found an app called jorte that looks like it'll work for this purpose, I'll update with how it works in case anyone else is looking for the same

just updating in case anyone else ever needs something similar. jorte is exactly what I was looking for. it says they tried to make it as like a paper date book as they could. they did a pretty good job far as I can tell. it works fine offline, but can sync to your google calendar if you want.

Try Calengoo; IMHO better, faster than Jorte, good widget, weekview is great!
