Archos 9 z515 for $90

My friend want to sell me his archos 9 z515. He said he would sell it to me for $90. He told me that the tablet is worth over $300. Also he has upgraded the hard drive to a ssd.
Is this worth it or should I save my money and get a cheap android tablet. Please give me your opinion on this deal.

It is an Apples and Oranges Question. Do you want to run Android (Other tabs) or Windows 7 (Archos 9). I have a an early generation A9 and found it lacking if wanting PC full functionality. The Keyboard is less than glorious. And the unit has acceptable performance, but not stellar. Bottom Line, You would be investing in older Intel chipset and technology

I would spend my money on a newer Android Tablet and just a bit more money. You would not have Windows capability, but it would do everything the A9 would do and more.

But that is me.

I agree for 100usd you can have better specs more powerful cpu etc etc. Check out redtabletpc.com & look for novo7 tornado for example. We'll worth a look.
