Coby's contracted technical support tells me that the 8" and 10" are actually due mid April by the last bit of news they had last week of so.

which 8" are you talking about xaueious? The 8024 or the 8025 or both?

Tech support said they weren't sure what it was going to be exactly. Someone can probably call Coby headoffice to find out. I only called Coby tech support because it happened to be a toll free call for me

Coby stated today on their Facebook page that the XX24 models (7024, 8024, etc with Android 2.2) will be released at the end of this month. The XX25 models (7025, etc with Android 2.3 - the "original" new model) is still slated for May/June. Just FYI.

KMart just added the Coby's to their online catalog today (Mar 25), but one cannot add to cart/buy yet - no price "Available".
See this link to their tablets - sorted by date added, so the Coby's should be at the top:

I would guess the pricing/availability is "imminent" - check back later.

So I looked on KMart's website on Friday, and they had the new models of the Kyros posted, but no prices. Saturday I was in the store and they had some Kyros' that the clerk told me were going to be $179.99.

This morning I looked on KMart's website again and found the following:

But at least they have the prices listed. Wonder when they'll start showing "in stock". Makes me wonder, saturday when I was there, they were handing out a free advertising CD. I should have gotten one to see if these were listed...

Coby has been telling everyone May/June for the new models running 2.3. End of March-Middle of April for the new models running 2.2.

But what's happening in Japan might have some impact on stock on hand and pricing. 10" was suppose to go for $249 and not it's $299. Well that's better than Radio Shack Pricing which was $349 to $399. I would the 10".

I'm thinking I would like 10" too. while 7" is nice to carry around, I think i'd like bigger for around the house. I think the price is kind of steep though, better to wait for sales.

I found USA wholesaler cheapest for the 10" Coby is $254 and the 8" $187 The 7026 $169. Looks like the 8" and 10" have power charging stands, blue amber LED for the hardware front facing buttons. Not bad. I might end up with 8" for $187 price. I going to keep close eye on that site until they come in with Android OS 2.3.

Wholesaler is cheaper at $187 for the 8" I sure shipping will bring it up a bit and then tax.
